Newcastle Jets has entered into a three-season agreement with VIVA Global as the Club’s Official Apparel Partner.
VIVA, which commenced its operations as Viv Sports in South Australia in 2008, will provide both on and off-field apparel to all Newcastle Jets teams from 2017 through to mid-2020.
Adelaide-based performance sportswear company VIVA is backed by former Caltex Socceroos striker, A-League coach and TV football pundit John Kosmina.
The company will offer Jets Members and supporters a wide range of Authentic Fan Merchandise over the coming years.
VIVA Managing Director and Founder Viv Chauhan said his company had identified forging ties with a national, professional sporting franchise as a key play in their next phase of growth.
“We see this partnership as an opportunity to take our business to the next level,” Chauhan said.
“VIVA had reached a point where our continued growth was always going to be tied to building our brand awareness through a professional team.
“We believe that Newcastle Jets are a terrific fit for us because we have a common goal to produce and excel at the elite level.
“The Australian performance sportswear market has long been dominated by overseas players, but we aim to be able to take on them on through our commitment to quality products and outstanding service."

Newcastle Jets Chief Executive Officer Lawrie McKinna and Head Coach Ernie Merrick were also on hand for the official announcement.
“VIVA is a highly ambitious organisation eager to excel in Australia and abroad,” McKinna said.
“Viv and Stuart (Allen - VIVA’s Sales & Marketing Manager) put together a compelling case to join forces with us, and we hope to be able to help them leverage our brand and connections as they launch their ‘Pro Elite’ range to clubs throughout the country.
“VIVA have already demonstrated how committed they are to our Club. They embraced the idea to supply our Powerchair team with training kits until next season’s strip is launched and will also provide a complimentary gift to our adult Members in 2017/18."
Newcastle Jets will launch its 2017/18 VIVA playing kits in September.
