Throwback to 2002, when Nike released one of the greatest World Cup ads of all time - 'The Cage'.
There have been some great, bad, weird and wacky as well as some cool and creative World Cup advertisements.
One of these is the 2002 Nike World Cup advertisement titled ‘The Cage’. The small film featured many international football superstars such as Thierry Henry, Ronaldo, Luis Figo and Roberto Carlos.
The video is filmed on a ship with a cage surrounding a small football field. The only way the game finishes is if someone scores a goal.
There are no rules applied which is shown in the film when they are pulling on each other’s shorts and pushing each other over to get possession of the ball.
This advertisement is one of the greatest world cup advertisements from Nike and will be remembered by many for years to come.
