FC Barcelona and Nike are celebrating 20 years of partnership with a limited-edition jersey, featuring a mashup of every home kit from the past two decades.

Each design intends to remind fans of the legendary players and moments FC Barcelona have had over the last 20 years.

The commemorative jersey, which will not be worn on the pitch, evokes memories from Barcelona’s most successful period - with 10 Spanish league titles, 4 European trophies and 20 other honours from numerous competitions dating back to 1989.

Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director, Pete Hoppins told Nike News: “We wanted to do something different to celebrate the 20th anniversary.

"The main challenge was ensuring all the previous shirts were represented, but also that each one was carefully placed.

"We had to be mindful of the overall design, rather than just placing each one anywhere on the garment.”
