The new FIFA 17 hits shelves and games consoles on September 29 - but we've got the lowdown on who are the top ranked Socceroos and A-League stars this season.
FIFA 17 A-LEAGUE RATINGS
Top of the tree among A-League stars, Uruguayan Bruno Fornaroli has earned himself the highest rating in the after a stellar season with Melbourne City where he scored 25 times in 29 games last season.
Fornaroli has moved up from a rating of 71 in FIFA 16 to 76, notably made up of 78 pace, 74 shot, 75 dribbling and 73 physicality.
Sydney FC’s 2016/17 marquee signing, Bobo, has retained his rating of 75 from last season as he prepares for his debut A-League campaign ahead.
Not far behind, Johnny Warren medal winner Diego Castro has also been rated at 75, made up of impressive statistics such as 79 for dribbling, 74 for pace, 73 for shot and 72 for passing.
Meanwhile, Besart Berisha has gone from a 72 to a 74-rated striker after another satisfying season for Melbourne Victory.
New A-League arrival and Socceroos hero Tim Cahill has been given a 74 rating ahead of his first season in the A-League for Melbourne City, unsurprisingly with a rating of 94 for jumping and 93 for heading.
FIFA 17 SOCCEROOS RATINGS
Despite sporadic appearances for Valencia in Spain, Socceroos #1 goalkeeper Mat Ryan has earned himself the highest rating of any Australian in FIFA 17.
Although he only made 10 appearances for the Spanish side in his first season, Ryan impressed and performed at a high standard when given the nod from his manager.
Meanwhile after a standout season at Melbourne City which prompted his move to Manchester City, Huddersfield's loan star Aaron Mooy is now the highest rated Australian outfield player on FIFA 17.
Mooy, who scored 11 times and assisted 20 times in all competitions for Melbourne City during the 2015/16 season, has moved from 74 to 76 and features well-rounded statistics including 70 for pace and shot, 78 for passing, 72 for dribbling and 71 for physicality.
Socceroos captain Mile Jedinak has maintained his rating of 76, while Robbie Kruse has retained his rating of 73 heading into the latest FIFA game. James Troisi and Rhys Williams have also retained their ratings of 73.
But it's not all good news for our Socceroos – Matthew Leckie has been downgraded, going from a 72 to a 73.
Celtic’s Tom Rogic enjoyed an upgrade of 67 to 70, alongside QPR’s Massimo Luongo who will be rated 70, up from his rating of 68 in FIFA 16.
Preston North End centre-back Bailey Wright had a significant improvement as he went from a 67 rated centre-back to a 71.
FIFA 17 will be officially released in Australia on September 29.
