Andrew Nabbout is the latest player on Newcastle Jets staggering injury list with the forward facing a month out with an ankle injury.
Jets boss Mark Jones revealed the extent of the club's woes on Wednesday, with Nabbout joining the likes of skipper Nigel Boogaard, defender Daniel Mullen and striker Aleksandr Kokko on the sidelines.
Nabbout injured his ankle in Sunday's F3 derby draw with Central Coast Mariners and was replaced on 77 minutes.
The Jets will wait on further scans later this week to ascertain the extent of the injury, but Jones said that Nabbout would miss up to a month of action.
