Norwich, Hull City and QPR are keen to secure the striker's services but Celtic have not accepted any bids for the man who scored 31 goals in 51 appearances last season.

It is the Loftus Road club who appear to be leading the chase for the 25-year-old Englishman, but Lennon wants to keep him at Celtic Park for the forthcoming campaign.

"There has been a bid in, but negotiations are ongoing," he told Sky Sports News. "We would still like to keep the player.

"He will be training tomorrow (Sunday) and will be part of the squad against Cliftonville.

"I don't know if the deal will go through or not. If it doesn't, then I'll be delighted because we will still have a very good player in the squad."
