Perth Glory coach Kenny Lowe says his sideline antics are unlikely to change but concedes last week’s outburst at the officials was unacceptable.
Lowe was sent to watch Glory’s 3-2 win at Melbourne City from the stands after an on-field verbal barrage at the officials at half-time.
The Glory boss was subsequently handed a two-game suspension.
Lowe admitted he was disappointed in his actions.
“On the day I think I was honest in my message,” Lowe said. “I think what I said was truthful and honest to the referee.
“It’s just the way I conveyed it and articulated it. That disappoints me to be truthful.
“I could’ve done it a lot smarter and more intelligently than the way I did do it.
“What I did wasn’t acceptable.”
Lowe’s two-game ban begins when Perth faces Brisbane Roar away on Sunday.
The Glory coach said everyone was fit and available, except for Adam Taggart who is battling a calf issue.
Lowe said Brisbane, who have four points from three games, were a side to be particularly wary of.
“Brisbane are a very very good team,” Lowe said. “We’ve played them twice already.
“They spanked us 4-0 in a friendly and I went ‘wow that was probably one of the best performances I’ve seen’, they were absolutely superb.
“Then we had a decent FFA Cup game that could have gone either way so it’s always a good game.
“They’ve got good players, they play the right way, got a top coach; they’ll be difficult, really difficult.”
