Sydney FC scored two second-half goals in four minutes to clinch the Sydney Derby 4-0 against Western Sydney Wanderers in front of an A-League record crowd on Saturday night.
With a competition record attendance of 61,880, Western Sydney failed to impress in the first local derby at ANZ Stadium.
Sydney's marquee men Filip Holosko and Bobo dominated with two goals within four minutes early in the second half, before Brandon O'Neill and Alex Brosque rounded out the humiliation.
The first chance of the game fell to Rhyan Grant after 16 minutes after his shot was hit straight at Andrew Redmayne.
Two minutes later Sydney continued to look dangerous after Holosko’s effort when wide of the goal.
At the half hour mark the derby erupted as a clumsy Robert Cornthwaite challenge on Brazilian newcomer Bobo triggered a melee resulting in bookings for the centre-back and David Carney.
With 10 minutes remaining in the first half, Western Sydney finally had their first real chance of the game as Scott Neville narrowly missed Danny Vukovic’s net.

On the brink of half-time Kerem Bulut had two shots in the space of two minutes to no avail leaving the game scoreless at the break.
The Sky Blues opened the scoring at the 51st minute as David Carney’s cross into the box took a touch off Bobo which landed to Holosko who finished it comfortably.
Sydney doubled the lead shortly after when Michael Zullo’s ball found Holosko who gave it to Bobo to make it an uphill task for the Wanderers.
At the 67th minute Nicolas Martinez played his way into the box as his cross managed to find Bulut whose header from point blank range was held by Vukovic.
Five minutes later Mitch Nichols continued to strive forward as Vukovic denied the Wanderers once again.

Rhyan Grant nearly put the game to bed after hitting crossbar with 14 minutes remaining.
At the 83rd minute it went from bad to worse for Western Sydney as Aritz Borda was given his marching orders after being the last man to clip Alex Brosque who looked through.
The free kick was then converted by O’Neill who left Redmayne frozen in his box.
At the final minute Matt Simon broke into the box whose ball to Bobo had a shot saved, but landed to Brosque who made it 4-0.
At full-time Sydney prevailed and return to Allianz Stadium next week to face Central Coast Mariners while the Wanderers travel to Adelaide to face the reigning champions.
