Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama claims to be unaware of reported interest from Premier League outfit Southampton.
The 21-year-old Kenyan starred for Celtic last season, making 49 appearances and scoring nine goals in all competitions.
The midfield enforcer has been widely linked with a move to England, with Southampton reportedly offering the Scottish giants an offer in the region of £10million for him.
But Wanyama, speaking from his holiday in Kenya, said he did not know about the Premier League club's apparent interest.
Wanyama told Goal: "I am currently enjoying my deserved holiday.
"I have just heard of the same interest in the media and currently I am on holiday enjoying myself. I will speak to my agent later to find out the true position.
"I don't think it will be appropriate for me to speak about something I am not aware about. My agent knows everything that is happening and he has not contacted me so for now I want to enjoy my holiday."
