EXCLUSIVE: Gold Coast United’s New Zealand international goalkeeper Glen Moss is set to rejoin Wellington Phoenix and could be unveiled as early as next week.
It’s understood the talented 29-year-old shot-stopper has agreed to join Ricki Herbert’s side and is close to finalising his move back across the Tasman from the Glitter Strip.
Moss, a former New Zealand Knights and Sydney Olympic keeper, has been a mainstay at Gold Coast, playing over 40 times for the club after joining from Melbourne Victory in 2010.
Moss previously played for Wellington Phoenix when he joined the club in their inaugural season back in 2007 before his move to Melbourne.
As an All-White he has pulled on his national team jersey 16 times and is set to battle fellow New Zealand international keeper Mark Paston for a regular number one spot at the Nix.
