They mixed with fans and students at Alphington Grammar School in Melbourne to celebrate the match against the legendary Greek side on May 19 at Etihad Stadium.

Packed To The Rafters star George Hourvardas joined in the fun too for a penalty shoot-out against former Socceroos goalkeeper Mark Bosnich along with Victory stars Danny Allsopp, Jimmy Jeggo and Marco Rojas.

Meanwhile Olympiacos top goalscorer and Belgium International Kevin Mirallas has spoken of his excitement at coming down under to face Victory.

"It’s going to be wonderful. I’ve heard it is a lovely place and I’m eager to play there," he told au.fourfourtwo.com.

"I know that many people are looking forward to see us play and that’s why we really want to do this; as I believe that it’s going to be a very emotional week for everybody involved.

"It’s not something you normally do with ease, go play in a country like Australia in front of this crowd. I think it’s going to be great.

What will be the highlight of your trip to Australia?
To begin with, I think we will have a lot of fun on the plane, seen that it is going to be a long trip, approximately an entire day. Additionally, the fact that we will all be together for a week in a beautiful country like that and having just won the double will give us the pleasure to enjoy our success as a team. I’m expecting it to be a lovely week overall.

How does it feel to play in one of the greatest and most recognised clubs in the world?
It’s a great pleasure and I’m very proud to be wearing the shirt of Olympiacos and representing it around the world, in Greece or in Europe. It’s always nice to play under its colours.

What inspires you to aspire to greatness as a player?
I’ve always been inspired by the greatest players all around the globe. When I was a little boy I had my idols, just like an ordinary child, and watching them play was basically all the inspiration I needed at the time. Now, being all grown up, I try to mark my own path and be an inspiration to others myself.

What does it take to be a star player at this level?
The first thing that matters is the qualities of the player. After that, it’s all in one’s head; the will to work hard and try their best in order to keep their level always high. That’s the most important thing.

What plans are there for the future?
At the moment I have a contract with Olympiacos for two more years and I am hoping that there are more beautiful seasons like this one to come. I wish for great things and we will be discussing everything with my club. Other than that, as a group, we will have some time off in the summer and then will prepare for a hopefully prosperous season.

Biggest career highlights?
I think that I will always remember my first professional match and my first professional goal, which luckily occurred at the same time making it all the more important, my first trophy which was last year with Olympiacos but also this season as we won the double and I also got to be the first scorer of the season. These are all wonderful moments that I will always cherish.
