The Phoenix season in numbers...

22: The number of Phoenix players who took the field.  Only Sydney used fewer.

45: The number of consecutive hours of football skipper Andrew Durante played without injury, suspension, substitution or loss of form. Staggering.

26: The percentage of games lost (8 of 30).

100: The percentage of games lost to Sydney (4 of 4).

182: The number of corners Phoenix won in the regular season; more than anyone else.

14: The number of games in which Phoenix scored the first goal.  They lost none of them.

126: The distance in kilometres between Wellington and Palmerston North.  Please let us never play another home game there.

2326: The number of Facebook friends Paul Ifill has at the time of writing.

32792: The official attendance at the play-off match against Newcastle at the Ring of Fire.

4109: The official attendance at Newcastle's previous playoff game at Gold Coast.

67: The number of appearances Tony Lochhead has now made, all of them starts.

30: The number of hours between when the All Whites arrived back from Los Angeles and the playoff game against Newcastle kicked off.  You wouldn't have known.

46: The number of games since David Mulligan was last in the matchday squad.  Needless to say, his exit from the club this week didn't come as a huge shock.

6: The number of consecutive A-League matches in which Central Coast Mariners have now failed to score against Phoenix.

2: The number of media at the post-match press conference after the round two match against Perth.

43: The number of media at the post-match press conference after the preliminary final against Sydney FC.

9: My rating out of ten for the Phoenix season.  Roll on August!
