Congratulations to Adelaide for your unbeaten streak. I really thought we would be the ones to bring you down to earth but it was not meant to be. Did you come to defend? Well yes but not in the way that say the Mariners first choice 11 play every game, but in the way that a smart coach will severely depleted attacking options would play with the title in mind. I also find it Interesting to note that as you sit in first spot the next three positions are filled by teams who all have only suffered one loss and have played fewer games than nearly every team below them.
Gold Coast United will play a game at some point in the future.
As previously stated I was devastated when Flores was injured as I really wanted to see him live and even Leckie missing took the shine off a little as well. As for my lot, well it was bloody good to see Joel Porter take the park and provide some good enterprise down our right wing. It has been a missing element for us and I hope to see him work well with Djite. Robson was bewildered in mid field and Bas van den Brink showed his hunger to regain a starting position on Miron's team.
This next game and United's competitors will not be released. We just expect you to know.
The Beach was again in fine form and defiant as news of Tinkler's football revolution took hold. But didn't we already have a revolution 5 years ago? So does this count as Tinkler's Counter Revolution or perhaps Tinkler's mutiny? Call it what you want but I say viva la resistance.
So Tinkler's rebellion coupled with "free kids at the roar" day had the Gold Coast faithful asking "what are we doing?" The answer that came back was - was - __________. Well nothing as no one is unveiling any plan to "re-connect" and "engage" or "unite" the public as they say in FFA execu-speak. So it is with great interest we watch the fortunes of these two clubs and their fan friendly initiatives.
Four year olds to 14 years $14.00 (cheapest) - 15 years and over $25.00 (cheapest).
So it is back on the road with Gold Coast United as we play both Melbourne teams with only NQ Fury in-between. Ahhhh what a glorious schedule to send us to our most southern region then the most northern then back again. But these are the trials that forge champions and to the great pleasure of some of the most loyal fans to the Australian game we are manoeuvring into a healthy position on the road to finals.
If you managed to glean enough information to figure out when and where GCU will play next then please contact marketing administration as we will immediately scale back our efforts - thank you.
