The penultimate round of season three of the W-League will see knife-edge football played. Roar Women will be aiming for a win to stay top of the table, if only in the short term, as they have a bye in the final round. Vying for a win both this week and next will be second-placed Sydney FC who, with two wins, will seize the premiership and secure a home final at the 11th hour. The third match of the round will come down to the wire too, with both Melbourne and Perth looking to secure their first top-four finish. And, with this the last round before school starts and the last home game for some teams before the finals, it will be must-see football for all.

Having played away last week in Melbourne due to the floods in Queensland, Brisbane return home to play their final home game and final game for the season. They'll be playing for the full three points and hoping Sydney suffer a loss as they work to finish top. Standing in their way to achieving this is the resurgent Newcastle, who have proved their ability to upset the top-ranked teams and who thumped Adelaide 7-1 in recent weeks. Brisbane will need to bring their A-game to this ABC 1-broadcast match

Also playing at home are Sydney FC, who will take on the third-ranked Canberra, with everyone out for a win. With nine goals under her belt so far this season, Sydney striker Kyah Simon is leading the golden boot competition. It's a lead she'll be looking to extend as she helps her team to a victory and set them up to snatch the premiership in round 12. But consistent performers Canberra will make that as difficult, with the likes of Caitlin Munoz and Sally Shipard defending hard and providing their teammates with good service.

Who'll come out on top between Melbourne and Perth is anyone's guess, with the evenly matched teams both desperate to finish in the top four for the first time. Melbourne will be feeling confident after their 0-0 draw against league leaders Brisbane in round 10, but Perth's Sam Kerr-Kate Gill combo up front is always dangerous and could prove difficult for Melbourne to contain.

Regardless of which city you're in, these three games are must-win and must-watch for all.
