New Zealand referee Matthew Conger has been included on FIFA's shortlist of 12 referees who could be appointed to take charge of the final four matches of the World Cup in Russia.
Conger previously took charge of Nigeria's 2-0 group stage win over Iceland, and was the fourth official during England's last-16 win over Colombia.
The 39-year-old reffed three fixtures in the A-League last season, dishing out 16 yellow cards and one red, to Melbourne Victory's Rhys Williams.
HeĀ is also a referee in New Zealand's ISPS Handa Premiership, and officiated at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
The FIFA shortlist includes referees from six continental confederations.
Uruguayan referee Andreas Cunha has already been assigned to the France v Belgium game in St. Petersburg on Wednesday morning.
This just leaves the referees for the other semi-final between England and Croatia, the final and the third place play-off game to be announced.
FIFA's referee shortlist for the final four games is as follows:
AFC: Alireza Faghani;
CAF: Malang Diedhiou;
CONCACAF: Mark Geiger, Cesar Arturo Ramos Palazuelos;
CONMEBOL: Andres Cunha, Nestor Pitana, Sandro Ricci;
OFC: Matthew Conger;
UEFA: Cuneyt Cakir, Bjorn Kuipers, Milorad Mazic, Gianluca Rocchi.
