MOSCOW, June 5 (Sputnik) - A total of 38 additional suburban trains will run in Moscow on the days when matches of the upcoming FIFA World Cup will kick off late, the Central Exurban Passenger Company (CEPC) said Tuesday.
"They will operate on the days when Moscow's 2018 FIFA World Cup matches begin at 21:00 [local time, 18:00 GMT]," the company said in a statement.
According to the statement, additional trains will run on June 27, July 3 and 11.
Five-time champions Brazil will play Serbia in Group E at Moscow's Spartak Stadium on June 27. The arena will also host a round of 16 game on July 3, while a semi-final will be held at the 81,000-seater Luzhniki Stadium on July 11.
The company added that fans will be able to travel for free in Moscow on match days. Free tickets will be available at the CEPC ticket offices or from conductors within four hours after the match. Passengers will need to have a valid FAN ID and the match ticket to get a free ride.
Russia will host the 2018 FIFA World Cup from June 14 to July 15, with the games set to be held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, and Sochi.
