Russia goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev was named the man of the match after Russia beat Spain 4-3 on penalties in their round of 16 match.
The scores were level at 1-1 after 90 minutes and extra time failed to find a winner.
However, it was Russia who came out on top in the penalty shootout, defeating Spain 4-3.
Akinfeev saved two Koke's and Iago Aspas's spot kicks in the penalty shoot-out to help bring his side victory.
