A total of 39,991 fans attended the World Cup quarter-final match between England and Sweden in Samara, FIFA said via the tournament's official Twitter account on Saturday.
England beat Sweden 2-0 to qualify for the World Cup semi-finals, where they will face either Croatia or Russia.
It was the last match at the 41,970-seater Samara Arena, which also hosted four group stage matches and a round of 16 game of this summer's World Cup.
