A total of 41,970 fans attended the World Cup match between hosts Russia and Uruguay in Samara, FIFA said Monday on its official website.
Uruguay beat Russia 3-0 and claimed the top spot in Group A, while the hosts finished second, three points behind the South American side.
The Samara Arena will host three more World Cup matches, including a quarter-final.
