Several Argentina fans who were caught on camera bashing a Croatian supporter, have already left Russia, the Argentina ambassador Ricardo Lagorio said on Sunday.
A video was released on social networks showing the incident at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium after Croatia defeated Argentina lost 3-0.
The Russia 2018 Local Organizing Committee press service told Sputnik on Friday that the fans depicted on the video would face administrative penalties.

"There is a video where four Argentina supporters are beating one person, supposedly a Croatian. Their FAN IDs were revoked and they have already left the territory of the Russian Federation,” the ambassador said, stressing that the behavior of the fans was “unacceptable.”
The ambassador added that the vast majority of Argentina’s fans in Russia had behaved properly and enjoyed the tournament, stressing that he would not want one accident to mar the image of the country and its people.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and will continue until July 15, with the matches being played in 11 cities across Russia.
