Nearly 14 millions Russians watched the World Cup quarter-final match between Russia and Croatia, broadcast live on Russia's Channel One, a survey revealed Monday.
Russia lost to Croatia 4-3 on penalties in Sochi on Saturday after the match finished 2-2 following extra time.
According to the survey conducted by the Mediascope research company, a total of 13,928,814 Russian aged four and older watched the match, while 23,382,212 people based in Russia watched the broadcast for at least a minute.
Russia's first-ever World Cup will come to an end on Sunday, with the final set to be played at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium.
