Belgium beat Egypt 3-0 in a friendly pre-World Cup match held at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels on Wednesday.
Belgium striker Romeru Lukaku, who also plays for Manchester United, opened the scoring in the 26th minute. His teammate Eden Hazard doubled the score in the 38th minute, while Marouane Fellaini sealed the team’s victory in stoppage time.
Both teams are preparing for the upcoming tournament. Belgium was drawn to Group G along with Panama, Tunisia, England, while Egypt will face hosts Russia, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay in Group A.
Russia's first-ever World Cup will kicks off on June 14 with the opening match between Russia and Saudi Arabia at the 81,000-seater Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
