Belgium will face five-time World Cup winners Brazil in their quarter-final match in Kazan on Friday.

"I think when you are in the quarter-finals of the World Cup facing Brazil, you don't need extra motivation. We know why we're here, we know how hard we've been working for two yeas... I feel that the mentality is right, I feel that we are confident," Martinez told journalists.

He added that his squad should be "very aware" of Brazil star striker Neymar.

"We respect immensely the Brazilian side and Tite as a coach... But the games are not for coaches, the games are for players, and as a coach you have to help your players to be able to be on the pitch... We rely on individual talent, we rely on one-by-one situations, we rely on being able to score goals... Tomorrow you have to be perfect when you defend... Neymar is... a technical footballer, decisive in one-by-one situations, we'll have to be very aware," Martinez said.

Thierry Henry who is one of the coaches of the Belgian World Cup squad won the 1998 World Cup being a part of the French national team.

"Thierry Henry brings that know-how... He... has won the World Cup... He knows what you feel as a player when you are in that situation, when you see the opportunity, when you have to face the pressure of having to win a game. His impact in that respect has been very important," Martinez said.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and will continue until July 15, with the matches being played in 11 cities across Russia.
