Belgium Prime Minister Charles Michel will not attend any group matches at the FIFA World Cup but may come to Russia if Belgium advance to the knockout stages.
“The prime minister does not plan to attend the group stage matches but he might come to Russia if the ‘Red Devils’ do well at the tournament,” a representative said.
Belgium will play their first World Cup match against Panama on Monday, and will face Tunisia and England on June 23 and 28 respectively.
The games of the 2018 FIFA World Cup will be held at 12 stadiums across 11 Russian cities till July 15.
