Poland head coach Adam Nawalka said on Tuesday that Poland midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski was not ready to play in the second half of their World Cup encounter with Senegal due to injury.
The Group H encounter was held at Moscow's Spartak Stadium and ended in a 2-1 victory to Senegal. Blaszczykowski started for Poland, but was substituted during the break.
"He [Blaszczykowski] was substituted due to injury, he needed medical assistance, he was not ready to play in the second half," Nawalka told journalists.
