"The Brazilian national team played well, but certain moments need improving. The Swiss team was great, it deserves respect. We witnessed a magnificent spectacle. It's my first time in Rostov and I'm enchanted with the city and its beauty," Saldago told journalists.

Five-time World Cup winners Brazil will play Costa Rica on Friday and Serbia on June 27 in their remaining two Group E fixtures.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup will continue until July 15, with the matches set to be played in 11 cities across Russia.
