Former Russia head coach Anatoly Byshovets told Sputnik on Tuesday that he "liked" Croatia's performance during their 2-0 win against Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup.
"I liked Croatia, they showed they have the potential to go for the top prize. Croatia have a style of play which is pleasing on the eye, while their players are very skillful. I am following this team closely and they can progress [at the tournament]," Byshovets said.
Croatian will play Argentina and Iceland in their remaining two Group D matches.
