“We will be happy to welcome our dear guests and a unique team with Mohamed Salah, who is one of the best players of our time in the squad,” Daudov wrote on Mylistory social network, adding that in July 2016, Salah, who was then Roma player, took part in a friendly against Akhmat in Chechnya.

The Egyptian team will be greeted at the airport in Grozny by the country’s Ambassador in Russia Ihab Nasr and members of the Chechen government.

The players and the coaches will be staying at the new five-star hotel The Local, built ahead of the tournament and completely booked for the Egyptian team.
