Russia head coach Stanislav Cherchesov said on Saturday that it was currently impossible to predict his future with the team after the 2018 World Cup.
Hosts Russia were eliminated from the tournament, as Croatia beat them on penalties in Sochi on Saturday to advance to the World Cup semi-finals, where they will face England on Wednesday. The match finished 2-2 after extra time.
"It's impossible to predict if I stay [with the team] or not. There is no point in predicting. We have to analyze everything carefully. Changes happen in the team, we can't make any plans. We knew what we wanted... from the very first second. And we have achieved that. We hope that we'll manage to make one more step forward," Cherchesov told journalists.
