Colombia midfielder Carlos Sanchez has become the first player of the 2018 FIFA World Cup to be shown a red card.
The 32-year-old was sent off by Slovenian referee Damir Skomina after handling the ball inside the penalty area in the 3rd minuted of Colombia's match against Japan in Saransk.
Skomina awarded a penalty for the handball, with Japan midfielder Shinji Kagawa stepping up to convert from the spot.
