Colombia forward Radamel Falcao said on Tuesday that his team’s defeat to Japan in group H was “no big deal,” as there were still two games to play in the group stage.
Colombia lost 2-1 to Japan in Saransk on Tuesday.
“It’s no big deal, it’s life, we still have two games to win and reach the knockout stage. We tried to control the ball and attack a lot. We failed, but the next game with Poland will be one of the most important ones for us, we need to be strong and show character,” the player told reporters.
Colombia and Poland will face each other in Kazan on Sunday, while Japan will play against Senegal in Yekaterinburg on the same day.
