MOSCOW, June 4 (Sputnik) - Lokomotiv Moscow captain and defender Vedran Corluka was named in Croatia's final FIFA World Cup squad, announced by the national team via Twitter Monday.
Brugge defender Matej Mitrovic, who had been included in the country's preliminary squad, was dropped from the final list.
Croatia's final 23-man squad includes:
Goalkeepers: Danijel Subasic, Lovre Kalinic, Dominik Livakovic;
Defenders: Vedran Corluka, Sime Vrsaljko, Domagoj Vida, Ivan Strinic, Tin Jedvaj, Dejan Lovren, Duje Caleta-Car, Josip Pivaric;
Midfielders: Marcelo Brozovic, Ivan Rakitic, Luka Modric, Milan Badelj, Mateo Kovacic, Filip Bradaric;
Forwards: Ante Rebic, Marko Pjaca, Mario Mandzukic, Andrej Kramaric, Nikola Kalinic, Ivan Perisic.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup will be held in Russia from June 14 to July 15, with the games set to take place at 12 stadiums across 11 cities.
Croatia will face Argentina, Iceland and Nigeria in Group D at the tournament.
