Costa Rica are not losing faith as a team following their defeat to Serbia, team's head coach Oscar Ramirez said on Sunday.
Aleksandar Kolarov’s goal in the 56th minute gave Serbia a 1-0 victory against Costa Rica in their Group E clash in Samara earlier in the day.
“Maybe we have lost this match, but we still want to qualify. Our intentions remain the same, and that’s what I told the lads in the locker room. This isn’t over, we need to continue to be ambitious,” Ramirez told journalists at the post-match press conference.
Costa Rica will play against Brazil on Friday in St. Petersburg, while Serbia will face Switzerland on the same day in Kaliningrad.
