Croatia beat Senegal 2-1 in a FIFA World Cup warm-up match at the Gradski vrt stadium in the Croatian city of Osijek on Friday.
Senegal forward Ismaila Sarr opened the scoring in the 48th minute, but Croatia equalized through Ivan Perisic fifteen minutes later. Andrej Kramaric scored the winner in the 78th minute, to give his side a moral boosting victory ahead of the World Cup, which gets underway on June 14.
Both Senegal and Croatia have qualified for the tournament. Senegal will play in Group H alongside Japan, Poland and Colombia, while Croatia will face Argentina, Iceland and Nigeria in Group D.
