President of the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) Davor Suker said Croatia will have a difficult match ahead of themselves against Russia in the World Cup quarter-final game.
Croatia beat Denmark 3-2 on penalties in the teams' World Cup Round of 16 match in Nizhny Novgorod on Monday (AEST) and will now play in Sochi against Russia for a place in the semi-finals.
"Spain played better than Russia but we will have a difficult match against the hosts," Suker said.
"Chances? I think, it's fifty-fifty but Russia will have a huge support by the fans."
The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off in Russia on June 14 and will continue until July 15, with the games being played in 11 cities across the country.
