Croatia will approach their upcoming World Cup match against Argentina in a relaxed frame of mind as “they have nothing to lose," Croatia head coach Zlatko Dalic said on Wednesday.
The game will take place in Nizhny Novgorod on Thursday, where Croatia will be looking to make it two wins from two after defeating Nigeria 2-0 in their opening World Cup encounter. Argentina were surprisingly held to a 1-1 draw by Iceland.
“We will be playing against one of the best teams in the world but we know what we are capable of as well. We have nothing to lose, so it will be easy,” Dalic said, stressing that neither team would be happy with a draw.
Dalic mentioned that he could make some slight tactical and personnel changes to his starting line-up.
“We played well against Nigeria, so we will stick to roughly the same set-up,” he said.
