"I would like to congratulate Russia and [World Cup] organizers with a very high level of organization of the tournament. I attended such big tournaments, but haven't seen such level before. It's the most massive of competitions and the level of security here is very high as well," Stanicic said.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on 14 June and will continue until 15 July, with the matches being played in 11 cities across Russia.

Croatia will face Iceland in Rostov-on-Don on Tuesday in their final group stage match. They are currently top of the Group D, while Iceland is on the third with only a point.
