MOSCOW, June 11 (Sputnik) - The Croatian national football team has arrived in Russia ahead of this summer's FIFA World Cup, which will kick off on Thursday, the Croatian Football Federation said Monday.
The federation posted on Twitter a photo of the team near their airplane taken after landing in Russia, adding "Hi Russia!"
Croatia will be based just outside St. Petersburg during this summer's tournament and will face two-time champions Argentina, Iceland and Nigeria in Group D.
