Croatia head coach Zlatko Dalic said on Friday that he hoped that Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic would attend his side's World Cup semi-final match if they manage to make the last four.
Croatia will take on hosts Russia in Sochi on Saturday. The winner of this quarter-final encounter will face either Sweden or England in the semi-final match at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium on July 11.
Croatian President attended the round of 16 match between her side and Denmark that ended in Croatia's 3-2 victory on penalties on Sunday.
"All our country are euphoric. When Croatia play, people organize parties. Our president attended the Denmark match and will attend the Russia match. We're happy about that. We hope that she'll manage to come to our [semi-final] match in Moscow," Dalic told journalists.
