Russia defender Vladimir Granat says Russia and Spain have equal chances to win their round of 16 clash at the World Cup.
“Chances to beat Spain are 50/50. We are all upset (after the 3-0 Uruguay defeat), we wanted to make our fans happy one more time. We reached our goal by advancing to the knockout stage and we'll keep on playing now,” Granat told journalists.
Russia were beaten by Uruguay in their final Group A game but had already booked a spot in the last 16 before the match.
