ST. PETERSBURG, July 13 (Sputnik) - England defender Kieran Trippier trained with the rest of the Three Lions squad ahead of their third-place match against Belgium at the FIFA World Cup, a Sputnik correspondent reported on Friday.
The 27-year-old Tottenham Hotspur player, who scored an early opener for England in their 2-1 defeat by Croatia in the semi-finals on Wednesday, suffered a leg injury in the closing minutes of extra time, and left the pitch assisted by medics.
England will take on Belgium at the St. Petersburg Stadium on Saturday.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and will come to a close on Sunday, with France facing Croatia in the final, which will be played at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium.
