France head coach Didier Deschamps has become France's longest-serving manager after leading his side to victory over Argentina in their World Cup round of 16 match.
The encounter between Argentina and France took place at the Kazan Arena and ended with France winning 4-3 in an enthralling game.
The former Chelsea and Juventus midfielder has managed his country since 2012 and took charge of his 80th game, overtaking previous leader Raymond Domenech, who managed the team from 2004 to 2010.
Under Deschamps' management, France have pulled off 50 victories, been involved in 15 draws and suffered 15 defeats.
France will next face the winner of this morning's Uruguay v Portugal match in the quarter-finals.
