Switzerland midfielder Blerim Dzemaili was named man of the match after his side was held to a 2-2 draw by Costa Rica in their final group E match on Wednesday.
The match took place at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium with Dzemaili opening the scoring in the 31st minute.
Switzerland, with 5 points, will now face group F winners Sweden for a place in the quarter-finals on Tuesday in St. Petersburg.
Costa Rica were eliminated from the tournament.
