Russia have reached their first-ever World Cup quarter-finals since the break-up of the Soviet Union after drawing 1-1 with Spain and beating them 4-3 on penalties earlier on Sunday.

Dzyuba, who scored the equalizer from the penalty spot four minutes before the halftime break, was substituted in the 65th minutes.

"You know, great moments come along with great opportunities. Today we had a great opportunity, we knew it. We are happy that we did it. It's fantastic," Dzyuba told journalists.

In the last eight of the tournament, Russia will face the winner of Croatia and Denmark's encounter at the Fisht Stadium in Sochi on 7 July.
