Egyptian Tourism Minister Rania Al-Mashat will attend the FIFA World Cup match between Russia and Egypt in St. Petersburg.
According to the Egyptian news agency MENA, Al-Mashat arrived in Russia on Monday to watch the game set to take place at the 64,000-seater Saint Petersburg Stadium on Wednesday at 04:00am AEST.
The minister is also planning to check the ongoing promotion campaign aimed at attracting more tourists to Egypt.
"All Egyptians should support our players during the World Cup, everyone should also support our country and invite the whole world to visit Egypt," Al-Mashat said before leaving for Russia as quoted by MENA.
