GROZNY, June 6 (Sputnik) - A press center, where Egyptian journalists will work during this summer's FIFA World Cup, is set to open at the Grozny-City five-star hotel in the capital of Russia's Chechen Republic, the local organizing committee told Sputnik on Wednesday.
“We have equipped a press center on the fourth floor of the Grozny-City hotel. All the conditions necessary for comfortable work of the press will be met,” the committee's spokesperson said.
In May, Egyptian Ambassador to Russia Ihab Nasr visited Grozny, where Egypt will be based during the tournament, and praised the facilities to be used by the footballers during the World Cup.
Egypt have been drawn in Group A along with Russia, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia at the World Cup, which will get underway on June 14.
