England beat Costa Rica 2-0 in a friendly match at Elland Road Stadium in Leeds on Saturday ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
England striker Marcus Rashford scored the opener in the 13th minute and his teammate Danny Welbeck doubled the team’s score in the 76th minute.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup will take place in Russia for the first time from June 14 to July 15 in 11 host cities.
England were drawn in Group G where they will face Tunisia, Panama and Belgium, while Costa Rica will play Serbia, Brazil and Switzerland in Group E.
