MOSCOW, June 15 (Sputnik) - England forward Marcus Rashford resumed training with the rest of the team's FIFA World Cup squad, after recovering from a minor injury, the team said on Friday.
"All 23 players are out on the pitch for our third session in Russia, including Marcus Rashford," England said on their Twitter account.
The 20-year-old, who plays for Manchester United in the English Premier League, suffered a knee injury on Monday during the squad's final training before heading for Russia. The team said earlier that the injury "isn't thought to be serious."
England arrived in St. Petersburg, where they will be based during this summer's tournament, on Wednesday. Rashford missed their first two training sessions in Russia.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on Thursday with the Russian national team beating Saudi Arabia 5-0. The tournament will continue through July 15, with a total of 64 matches set to be played at 12 stadiums across 11 Russian cities.
England will take on Tunisia in Volgograd on Monday before facing Panama in Nizhny Novgorod on June 24 and playing Belgium in Kaliningrad on June 28.
