“I think Lloris, who has done a great job at this tournament," Mondragon said when asked who was the best goalkeeper at the tournament.

However, he added that the Frenchman was not the only goalkeeper who delivered a great performance.

"I think there were three or four best goalkeepers at this tournament" Mondragon said.

"[Belgium’s Thibaut] Courtois had a great World Cup. Also Croatia’s [Danijel] Subasic did well. Overall, I think all the four keepers whose teams reached the semi-finals have showed they can play at the highest level."

When asked who he thinks will win this World Cup, he said “we'll see” and added that Croatia advancing to the final was “a great surprise.”

This year's World Cup will conclude on Monday (AEST), with France facing Croatia in the final at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium.

Colombia were eliminated from the tournament after losing to England on penalties in the round of 16 on July 3.
