Volgograd hosted its first World Cup match on Monday.

"Fans orderly left the stadium and the surrounding area, no visible incidents and clashes between fans were recorded," the representative said.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and will continue until July 15, with the matches set to be played in 11 cities across Russia.

The 43,000-seater Volgograd Arena will host three more group-stage games during this summer's tournament.
